Please note that iHealth is for current patients of Associated Neurologists. If you haven't yet seen one of our providers but have an initial consultation scheduled, we encourage you to join iHealth after you've been seen in our office.
To begin using iHealth for secure messaging, follow these simple steps:
- Click on the "New User" link in the Patient Login box on our site home page to sign up for a User ID and Password.
- Add info@medem.com to your address book to ensure that emails from Medem are not sent to your spam, bulk, or junk folders.
- Once you've registered with iHealth, you'll receive an email acknowledgement from Medem, entitled "Thank you for registering." At this point, you'll be able to access the Education Center and your iHealth Record.
- Your provider will also receive notification that you have requested iHealth registration for purposes of secure messaging. Once your provider responds to your request, you'll receive a Secure Message at the email address you provided when registering. (Please note that acknowledgement response times may vary, based on provider availability.) Clicking on the hyperlink at the bottom of the secure message will bring you directly to your provider's iHealth site.
- Once you enter your User ID and Password, you'll now also be able to link to your Message Center.
PLEASE NOTE: The first time you access your Message Center, you'll be brought to the "MEDEM TERMS OF SERVICE" for Secure Messaging. After reading the Terms of Service, click on the ACCEPT button to access and start sending your iHealth messages.
- To read any messages you received, simply click on the link under the "Message Center," which may read "You have 1 new message(s)," for example. Once you've read the Terms of Service, you can then click to read your Welcome Message from Associated Neurologists.
- To send a message to your provider, on the left-hand side, click on one of the message types beneath the heading "Create a New Message" to send the message of your choice.
- You will receive email reminders when new messages or educational materials are available in your Message Center. Again, to be sure that you receive these, add info@medem.com to your address book.
